DESCRIPTION
Join us for a creative, collaborative week of camp at Mudville! Camp Mudville is a half-day handbuilding ceramics camp for kids ages 6–12. Throughout the week, campers will explore a variety of clay projects, using their hands (and imaginations!) to sculpt functional pieces and playful forms. Each week features a different set of projects, so campers are welcome to join us for multiple sessions without repeating the same work. In the final days of camp, campers will glaze their work, learning how color and surface design bring their pieces to life. Finished ceramics will be fired and ready for pick-up a few weeks after camp ends. Parents will receive an email when they are ready. Camp days also include plenty of creativity beyond clay. We’ll explore other art forms like fiber arts, beading, and mixed-media projects, giving campers lots of ways to experiment, make, and collaborate with one another. Camp runs half-day from 9:00am–12:00pm, with a mid-morning snack break. We provide light snacks, and campers are always welcome to bring their own.
CANCELLATION POLICY
May be cancelled up to 10 days prior to the first class of the session for a full refund minus a $30 processing fee. To cancel within 10 days or after the session begins, please contact us at mudvilleclaystudio@gmail.com. Late cancellations are not eligible for a refund, but participants may reschedule or receive studio credit. Should we need to cancel a class/workshop/camp due to low enrollment, we will notify you one week prior and issue a full refund.
