PARTIES

Celebrate your special day with clay! We offer two kinds of parties at Mudville: Handbuilding (ages 6–adult) and Wheel Throwing (ages 13+). Both include private studio time, clay, tools, glazes, and two dedicated instructors to guide your group.

 

Handbuilding Parties

• Perfect for all ages (6–adult)

• Kids’ parties: Choose ahead of time between making bowls or pinch pot animals.

• Adult parties: Follow along with a guided demo, make your own unique piece, or combine both approaches.

• Pricing: $379 for up to 10 guests, plus $10 per additional guest (up to 16 max).

• Glazing options:

  • Glaze during the party or

  • Select from a curated palette for Mudville staff to finish.

• Pickup: Pieces will be ready in 2–3 weeks. We’ll notify you via email, and we ask that the host pick up all pieces for distribution.

 

Wheel Throwing Parties

• Great for ages 13+ through adults.

• Learn how to throw on the wheel and create your own bowl, cup, or vase.

• Pricing: $399 for up to 8 guests (wheel parties are capped at 8).

• 2 hours of private studio time include:

  • Demonstration + lesson

  • Ample time on the wheel

  • Instructor support throughout

  • Cleaning up the wheels together at the end

• Extra time: Request an additional 30 minutes for cake/food/presents for $25

• Glazing: Each participant chooses their favorite piece, selects a glaze from a curated palette, and Mudville staff will finish it.

• Pickup: Pieces will be ready in 2–3 weeks. We’ll notify you via email, and we ask that the host pick up all pieces for distribution.
