Discover the art of the potter’s wheel in this immersive 4-week class! Whether you’re a beginner or looking to refine your skills, this course will guide you through the fundamentals of wheel throwing, from centering clay to shaping and trimming. Students will learn to create functional forms like bowls and cups while also exploring their own creative style. Each session builds on the last, allowing for steady growth and confidence on the wheel. Along the way, we’ll experiment with surface decoration and glazing techniques to bring each piece to life. By the end of the session, students will have a collection of unique, finished ceramics—ready to use, admire, and cherish! August Session runs for 4 weeks, from August 7th through 28th. This class takes place on Thursday evenings from 6-8pm. Class enrollment includes unlimited open studio sessions through the end of the term.
