DESCRIPTION

Join us for a hands-on journey into the world of clay! Young artists will explore the basics of handbuilding as they create functional and sculptural ceramic pieces. Each week, we will focus on a different handbuilding technique, like coil, slab, and pinch pots, and even try combining them in creative ways! In the final week, we will glaze our pieces, and families will be notified when everything is fired and available for pick up. This class is a perfect way to dip your toes into the world of clay! Open to artists ages 6-12. No experience needed - just bring your creativity! Early Summer Session runs for 4 weeks, from June 2nd through June 23rd. Class enrollment includes unlimited open studio sessions through the end of the term.
