DESCRIPTION
Join us for a hands-on journey into the world of clay! We will explore the basics of handbuilding and wheel throwing as we create functional and sculptural ceramic pieces. Each week, we will focus on different techniques - coil, slab, pinch pots, and wheel throwing - and even combine them in creative ways! In the final week, we will glaze our pieces, and you will be notified when everything is fired and available for pick up. This class is a perfect way to dip your toes into the world of clay! Open to anyone 13+. No experience needed - just bring your creativity! August Session runs for 4 weeks, from August 5th through August 26th. Class enrollment includes unlimited open studio sessions through the end of the term.
